“Food, Water and more Food!”

August is for kicking off. September is for dreaming. October is for bargaining. November is for everything.

Can’t believe that it is already mid-November. It seems like we were just kicking off the fall with back to school and getting back from summer break. In football, this time of year is where the pretender teams are exposed and the real contender teams rise to the top. I believe that Saddleback Irvine North is poised to make this a November to Remember for God’s glory and to make Jesus name known on the Northside of Irvine/Tustin.

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47

Let’s continue to come together as one community made up of individuals, small groups and ministries and strive to live out the early church model of a Jesus tribe. We are not a group of people that are just happen to have a hobby or affinity in common, but one that is captivated by the goodness of the Father, love of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit that will live forever!

Only a little over a week left in the collection of food for those in need at our food pantries. During the holiday months the amount of people that need help and food doubles. Over 2050 people have given their life to Christ at the Lake Forest food pantry parking lot! Click HERE for a list of items to bring to the PEACE blue bin at Northwood High School. Our Saddleback Student Ministry (SSM) will be having a LUNCH BUNCH event after the second service at Pieology Marketplace.
