October is a huge outreach month at Saddleback Church San Clemente...
I am so excited that we will see hundreds of new people at our church at one of these exciting outreach events. Remember that the goal for these outreach events is that those that attend will have appositive experience with the church and will then come back and check out one of our weekend services, where they will hear the life-changing truth about Jesus. Be in prayer and on the lookout for whom you can invite to one of these exciting events. I can’t wait to see how God uses these October events to reach people in our community.

Saddleback San Clemente Pumpkin Patch...
Saturday and Sunday, October 17-18 (After Services)

We’ll be having a bunch of fun out on the patio after each service with our very own Pumpkin Patch! All kids (birth-5th grade) will be able to choose a pumpkin to take home for free (which is nice for parents too:). Kids can also be entered into a contest to win the “worlds largest pumpkin.”

Blocktober... Friday, October 30, 5:30-8:30PM

Join us for an incredible night filled with bounce houses and inflatables, a rock wall, trunk-r-treat, candy, lazer tag, photo booth, a costume parade and more...all for free! Blocktober is always an exciting event for our church, it is the single largest community outreach event we do each year. It will take over 100 volunteers to pull off this event, so I need a bunch of volunteers. From set-up/tear-down teams, to carnival volunteers to our awesome Trunk-r-treat zone, there are many ways you can help out. Please reply back to this email to let me know I can count on you, and I will respond with more details. Also, we need candy! We will be collecting candy for the next 3 weekends at church. Please grab an extra bag of something delicious while you are out this week and drop it in the display in our lobby at church this weekend.

Fall Fest...
Friday, October 30th, 9:00-11:00PM

This is a new event for our church and is open to all Jr High and High School students in the San Clemente area. This free event will include bounce houses, inflatables, rock wall, the video game truck, lazer tag, photo booth and a huge dance party. Help us get the word out to every teenager in our community!

Family and Friends of Those with Mental Illness...
Also, on the heels of our recent conference on The Church and Mental Health, I want to let you know about this support group we offer here in San Clemente. Have a family member or friend who struggles with mental illness? Feeling overwhelmed, worn out, or frustrated? Would you like support, resources, and prayer from others who understand? Join us this Tuesday, October 20, from 7:00 - 8:30 upstairs at Saddleback Church San Clemente. This support group meets on the third Tuesday of Every Month.
